The hvv Mobility Ticket for refugees

This ticket is intended for registered refugees living in initial reception centres in the city of Hamburg. It is issued there to registered refugees allocated to Hamburg in Hamburg initial reception centres (ZEA) when they are first registered and is not transferable. This is only done in the administrative district offices in Hamburg. The hvv Mobility Ticket for refugees is valid from the day of its issue and entitles you to as many journeys as you like in fare rings AB. The costs will be automatically deducted from your pocket money:

N.B.: When you leave the Hamburg initial reception centres and/or if you start to receive benefits under the Law on Benefits for Asylum Seekers (Asylbewerberleistungsgesetz), you must return your hvv Mobility Ticket. From that point onwards you need to buy regular hvv tickets in order to travel.

Regular hvv tickets

For registered refugees living in Hamburg outside an initial reception centre, the hvv has various tickets which can be freely bought, for example single and day tickets, tickets for school students, college students, apprentices and trainees, weekly and monthly season tickets or the hvv Deutschlandticket.
